For me, screen printing is like painting:  colours and textures should change during the process and there must be an element of chance or disaster to add life and character to the work.
Some prints are created by painting directly onto the screen; others from collages; repurposed screens are used to suggest new additions or changed completely as a result of overprinting. 
Whatever the technique it is important that it comes as a response to the subject and is surprizing.
 
Based at Salford’s Hot Bed Press studio, I have exhibited in galleries and at print fairs throughout the Northwest and in London and had a number of solo shows.
My work has been selected for the Woolwich Print Fair, RE Masters of Screen and Stone exhibition at the Bankside in 2019 and the Royal Academy Summer Show. 
I won the Hot Bed Print award at the RE International exhibition at the Bankside in 2024.
